Los Angeles Galaxy Soccer
Los Angeles Galaxy commonly known as LA Galaxy was created in 1995 as one of the inaugural MLS teams. The club plays at the Home Depot Center which has a capacity of 27000 and has claimed a small collection of titles in its 14 year history featuring: 2 MLS Cups, 2 U.S. Open Cups and the CONCACAF Champions League in 2000.
LA Galaxy became world famous in January 2007 when David Beckham signed for the club in a massive deal. The signing of Beckham was great for publicity but it did not help the club improve on their impressive MLS playoff record (10 out of 13) with the side placing outside the playoffs in both of Beckham's seasons.
The home jersey for the LA Galaxy is white in colour and has been designed by Adidas it was changed from the traditional yellow and green design when David Beckham entered the club. The club logo has also changed since the move in July 2007 it was given a more modern look.
