Leaked images of the potential German national team jersey have been released. On first glance, the new Germany home jersey is predominately white with black patches on the shoulder and a black trim on the sleeves below three small black stripes. Manufacturers Adidas place their black logo centrally below the black round neck collar whilst a black squad number is present in the top right of the jersey. The national badge is positioned in the top left of the jersey and is intercepted by three stripes that are coloured gold, black and red.

Germany are currently in a fantastic position to qualify for the 2010 World Cup wear they will hope to wear their potential new kit. The team has 19 points out of a possible 21 and are four points clear of second place Russia although they have played a game more. Victory in the key away game against the Russians in October will near enough ensure automatic passage to the World Cup. At very worst the team should finish second and be guaranteed a play off spot. With their strong squad, you would be a brave man to write off the Germans winning the World Cup let alone qualifying for it.
