Hull City is a soccer club based in Hull, England. The club is nicknamed the Tigers and were founded in 1904. They play their home games at the KC Stadium which has a capacity of around 25,404. The club currently plays in the Premier League and had an extremely fine start to the 2008-09 Premier League Season.
The team traditionally plays in amber and black jerseys. Hull's current home strip is striped amber and black jerseys complemented with black shorts. Their away strip is a grey jersey with a darker shade of grey shorts.
Hull City's Roll of Honour includes soccer League Third Division Champions in 1965-66 and soccer League Third Division North Champions in 1932-33 and 1948-49. Recent succes sees the club finishing as winners in the soccer League Championship Play-offs in 2007-08 gaining promotion to the Premier League and a soccer League One Runner-up position in 2004-05.
