Germany away jersey 2012
European giants Germany have revealed their new away jersey that they will wear during 2012 and most noticably during the European Championships of that year assuming that they qualify as expected.
The nation had a successful 2010 World Cup where their young talent excelled only to be knocked out to eventual winners Spain. Since then, Joachim Low’s team has flourished in qualifying for Euro 2012 as they have currently won 8 out of 8 matches in a group containing tricky opposition in Turkey and a young Belgium side. The qualification draw for the 2014 World Cup was also recently revealed placing the Germans in a relatively straight forward group including Sweden and the Republic of Ireland.
The new Germany 2012 away jersey is predominately green with different toned horizontal thick stripes running across the body. Other details include a large white round neck collar and a thin white patch on the sleeve edge. Manufacturers Adidas place their whie logo in the top right whilst the three traditional white stripes run down the shoulders. The national badge is situated in the top left with three green stars placed above to represent the country’s three World Cup triumphs.
