Chivas USA is a male American soccer team who were founded in 2004. The team finished 4th in the Eastern Conference which saw them qualify for the end of season Play Offs. However, they lost to LA Galaxy to ensure it was the 4th season in a row that they were defeated at the quarter final stage.

Chivas USA 2010 home jersey

The new 2010 Chivas USA home jersey contains red and white horizontal stripes that run throughout the body. There is also a large red patch in the bottom red and top left which are bordered off with a black pinstripe round the outside. Manufacturers Adidas place their black logo in the top right of the jersey whilst the three traditional white stripes run down the shoulders and sleeves. The club badge is situated in the top left and sponsors “Comex” place their large black logo across the middle of the jersey.

Since their formation in 2004, Chivas USA have found some notable success in a short period of time. Following a poor first season, Chivas have finished in the top three of their regional division for the past three seasons. However, they have been eliminated at the quarter final stage for the past four seasons. The club is owned by Mexican Jorge Vergara, coached by Martin Vasquez and play their matches at the 27,000 capacity Home Depot Center.
