Spanish club Athletic Bilbao has revealed their new third jersey that they will wear during the 2009/10 La Liga campaign.

The team had a fairly average domestic campaign in 08/09 with a routine 13th place league finish where they never threatened the upper regions of the league but at the same time were never in any relegation troubles. As an unexpected bonus, the team managed to reach the final of the Copa Del Rey but lost 4-1 to Barcelona. This gave them a place in the 2009/10 Europa League.

The new Athletic Bilbao third jersey is predominately navy blue with thin vertical stripes of a lighter tone running throughout the body in the bottom two thirds. The collar is a red V neck and the sleeves trim is combined red and navy blue. Manufacturers Umbro place their white logo in the top right of the jersey whilst the club badge is situated in the top left. Sponsors “Petronor” place their combined red and white large logo across the middle of the jersey.
