New England Revolution Home Jersey

The New England Revolution Home jersey for 2009 is the same jersey that was used throughout the 2008 campaign. This patriotic effort sees the red, white and blue colors of the American flag integrated into the uniform design. The jersey is predominately navy blue with red panels on the sleeves and a grey symmetrical pattern on either side of the bottom half of the jersey. Adidas are the manufacturers and contribute with their three stripes running down the shoulder in a white typeface. The club badge is an alternative version of the American flag whilst the jersey has “Revolution” running across the front instead of a sponsor.
Overall, the jersey is extremely busy containing various patterns and colors. However, the navy blue stands up well as the predominate color and blends well with the other strong colors that are included.
New England Revolution
Since their formation, New England Revolution has been one of the most competitive sides in the MLS not to win the MLS Cup. Since 2002, the team has been managed by Liverpool legend Steve Nichol who has led Revolution to the final of the MLS Cup four times (2002, 2005, 2006, 2007), unfortunately losing all four encounters.
