Chivas USA is a male American soccer team who were founded in 2004. The club have made a very good start to the 2009 MLS season by winning both of their games against Colorado Rapids and FC Dallas.

Chivas USA Home Jersey

The Chivas USA home jersey is the same as the one worn during the 2008 MLS campaign. However, it is easy to see why the club has stuck with it as it is a rather nice design. The jersey is predominately red but also contains a vast amount of white as the pattern involves both colors in vertical stripes. The manufacturers are Adidas who have their logo centrally just below the collar in a navy blue typeface. However, the three Adidas stripes going down the shoulders are white. Comex are the uniform sponsors and their name is positioned centrally in a navy blue color and a fancy font.

All in all, the jersey does a great job in blending the three colors of the American flag giving an attractive and lively uniform.

Chivas USA

Since their formation in 2004, Chivas USA have found some notable success in a short period of time. Following a poor first season, Chivas have finished in the top three of their regional division for the past three seasons. However, they have failed to progress past the quarter finals of the play offs. The club is owned by Mexican Jorge Vergara, coached by Preki Radosavljevic and play their matches at the 27,000 capacity Home Depot Center.
