Olympique de Marseille has revealed their new away jersey for the 2009/10 Ligue 1 campaign.

The club has given themselves an outside chance of the Ligue 1 title going into the final day. Marseille will need to be Rennes and hope Bordeaux lose to allow them to claim 1st place. Either way, the club will gain qualification to the Champions League and it looks as if they will  finish better than their 3rd place finish gained in 07/08.

The new Marseille away jersey contains a predominately blue shirt. The top and bottom third are the same tone of blue whilst the middle third is a combination of two lighter blues in a checkered pattern. Manufacturers Adidas place their black logo centrally below the collar whilst the three traditional Adidas stripes are placed in black down the shoulders. Sponsors “Direct Energie” run across the centre of the jersey with the “Direct” in black and the “Energie” in white. Several triangular patterns in blue and black colours emerge from the underarms and the side of the shirts as well.
