Premier League club Everton FC has revealed their new away jersey that they will wear during the forthcoming 2009/10 campaign.

The team had another fantastic season in 2008/09 despite battling against other teams with a lot more money to spend than them. Although the club got off to a disappointing start, they battled back to a 5th place finish which saw them qualify for the UEFA Europa League. A great FA Cup run saw the team reach the final where Louis Saha scored the quickest goal in final history but unfortunately the club lost 2-1 eventually to Chelsea.

The new Everton away jersey is predominately black with thin pink horizontal stripes running across the body. The collar is a black polo neck with a pink trim. Manufacturers Le Coq Sportif place their pink triangular logo in the top right of the jersey whilst the pink club badge is situated in the top left. Sponsors “Chang” place a large white logo across the centre of the jersey.
