Spanish champions Barcelona has revealed their new goalkeeper jersey that will most likely be worn by Victor Valdes during the 2009/10 La Liga campaign. The club recently beat a rejuvenated Real Madrid side to the La Liga title despite losing 1-0 to Osasuna on the final day.

The new Barcelona goalkeeper jersey is predominately black with alternate vertical red and blue pinstripes throughout. Manufacturers Nike place their yellow “tick” logo in the top right of the jersey whilst the Barcelona club crest lies in the top left. Sponsors “Unicef” position their yellow logo in the centre of the jersey which intercepts the vertical pinstripes. All in all, the kit will stand out as being a complete color contrast to the Barcelona home and away uniforms. However, the red and blue pinstripes are a nice touch which give this goalkeeper jersey the class needed to belong to such a world renowned team.
